How it works
- Aircraft counts different aircraft a station captured that something else confirmed: another planedata.io station, a partner network or MLAT. That keeps the board fair: made-up data can’t climb it.
- Only you counts aircraft no one else heard: the gaps your station fills. Remote stations shine here.
- Types and airlines count the different aircraft types and airlines captured; range is the furthest aircraft; uptime the share of time the station was feeding.
- A station is ranked once enough of what it sends is confirmed, or it’s synchronised with MLAT. Country boards appear once a country has at least 5 stations. Stations using MLAT privacy aren’t listed.
